Discover how
“The Right Car” can make your used car buying experience simple and reassuring.
1. Why have a used car inspected before buying it?
Because a car can hide many defects that aren’t visible to the naked eye. A professional inspection helps detect mechanical, electrical, structural issues, or problems related to the vehicle’s history, before it’s too late.
2. What does a car inspection cover?
We check:
Mechanical condition (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension)
Body and chassis (accidents, rust, repairs)
Electronic and safety components
Interior of the vehicle
Diagnostic system (OBD II scan)
Vehicle history (accidents, maintenance, mileage, etc).
3. How long does an inspection take?
A full inspection generally takes between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on the type and condition of the vehicle.
4. Where is the inspection carried out?
We can come directly to the seller’s location (whether a professional dealer or a private individual), to a garage, or to the place of your choice. Our service is mobile and flexible.
5. Should I use CARFAX?
Of course, you can use CARFAX, VINAUDIT, or other sites, but it’s only one piece of a much bigger puzzle. They tell the past. We verify the present to secure your future.
6. Do you provide a report?
Yes. You will receive a detailed report with photos, technical observations, and our professional opinion on the vehicle (whether the purchase is recommended or not).
7. Will you provide a copy of the report to the seller?
No, the inspection report is only given to the buyer who ordered the inspection. You are the sole recipient of the report, allowing you to have confidential and complete information about the vehicle’s condition.
8. And what if the car has already been inspected by a garage?
A maintenance report does not replace an independent inspection. Our goal is to protect your interests, with no connection to the seller.
9. What should you do if the seller refuses an inspection?
If the seller refuses an inspection, it’s a major red flag. It’s best to be cautious and consider it a warning sign, as they could be hiding serious issues with the vehicle. An honest seller has nothing to hide.
If they refuse, you can:
*Ask for a detailed explanation for the refusal;
*Consider walking away from the deal;
*It’s best to look for other vehicles where inspections are accepted and transparency is guaranteed.
Protecting yourself is crucial when buying a used car.
10. What happens if the vehicle is sold before the scheduled inspection date?
If the vehicle is sold before our inspector arrives and we are informed in time to cancel the visit, we will keep your order active while you search for another vehicle. Once you’ve found a new one, simply contact us to transfer your inspection booking to the new vehicle. No additional charges will apply as long as no inspector was dispatched. Before booking an inspection, ask the seller to confirm in writing (even by text or email) that the vehicle will be held for you until the inspection. This helps avoid any unpleasant surprises.
11.Is it worth getting my car inspected before selling it?
Yes, having your car inspected before putting it up for sale is highly recommended. An independent, certified inspection report gives potential buyers confidence by confirming the vehicle’s actual condition—whether it’s in good shape or any issues are clearly identified. This can help speed up the sale and also protects you from potential claims after the transaction, particularly regarding hidden defects.
12. How do I determine the right selling price for my car?
Base your price on the car’s overall condition, mileage, and current market prices for similar models. An inspection can also help you assess its true value.
13. How much does an inspection cost?
The prices are displayed on the website in the pricing section and depend on the level of analysis requested. Contact us for a quick, no-obligation quote.
14. How can you pay for your inspection?
