Terms And Conditions

1. PURPOSE OF THE SERVICE
“The Right Car” offers a used vehicle inspection service designed to provide customers with an independent assessment of a vehicle’s overall condition pre-purchase or pre-sale. The service includes a visual inspection of the vehicle (bodywork, chassis, engine, and interior) carried out at the location specified by the customer, along with a written report detailing the vehicle’s condition.

2. INSPECTION PROCEDURE
The inspection is carried out by a qualified inspector from “The Right Car“. It is a visual assessment only, with no disassembly or repairs involved. A test drive will be performed only with the prior consent of the vehicle’s owner. The inspection report is sent to the client within 24 to 48 hours after the service.

3. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
The inspection is based on the observable condition of the vehicle at the time of the inspection. “The Right Car” does not guarantee the absence of future defects or defects not visible at the time of the inspection. The report has no legal value and does not constitute a comprehensive diagnosis or a purchase guarantee. “The Right Car” cannot be held responsible for any purchasing decision, breakdown, or financial loss occurring after the inspection. We cannot be held liable for any misinterpretation of the report, any purchase/sale decision based on it, or any consequences related to the subsequent use of the vehicle.

4. CUSTOMER COMMITMENTS
The customer agrees to:
Provide the exact coordinates of the inspection location,
Obtain the vehicle owner’s consent,
Ensure the vehicle’s accessibility on the day of the inspection.
If these conditions are not met and the inspection is cancelled, a fee will be deducted from the refund.

5. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING AND PAYMENT
The client contacts us via our website, by phone, or by email to schedule an inspection appointment. Full payment for the inspection is required at the time of booking once the appointment has been confirmed. Advance payment for the inspection does not create any obligation or pressure to book an appointment. No service will be carried out without prior receipt of payment. Payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or any other accepted payment method indicated at the time of booking.

6. CANCELATION
Cancellations by the client must be made at least 24 hours in advance to be eligible for a refund. In the event of a late cancellation or failure to meet the stated conditions (incorrect address, vehicle not accessible, lack of owner’s consent, etc.), a fee may be deducted from the refund, or no refund may be issued depending on the circumstances.
“The Right Car” reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the inspection in the event of force majeure or inspector unavailability. In such cases, the client may choose between a full refund or a rescheduling at no additional cost.
The seller may arrive up to 30 minutes late. After this time, the inspector will leave the premises and no refund or credit for a new inspection will be given.

7. RESCHEDULING AN INSPECTION
To reschedule an inspection, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that the inspection can be rescheduled for a specific time or date.

8. DATA PROTECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY
All personal information collected during the appointment booking or report delivery process, as well as vehicle information and inspection reports, is kept confidential (unless required by law). This information is handled in compliance with applicable regulations.
It is never shared with third parties without the customer’s consent.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content produced as part of our service (reports, documents, visuals, texts, photos, videos) is protected by intellectual property laws. It may not be reproduced, shared, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from “The Right Car”.

10. CHANGES TO RATES AND SERVICE AVAILABILITY
Prices for our products and services are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to any party for any modification, price adjustment, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

11. INDEMNIFICATION
By using our inspection service, you agree not to hold our company (“The Right Car“), its directors, officers, or employees responsible for any claims, damages, costs, or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the service, unless the issue is the result of serious misconduct or negligence on our part.

12. APPLICABLE LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing agreement, the dispute will be submitted to the competent jurisdiction.

13. CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
“The Right Car” reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time and without notice. Your continued use of our service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms and conditions. The applicable terms and conditions are those in effect on the date of the order.

14.ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking an inspection with “The Right Car”, the customer acknowledges having read, understood and accepted without reservation these terms and conditions.
